Hello! Happy Spring!
So... we've been in Colorado the past few weeks as we wrap up this leg of our tour and travel adventure. We LOVE Colorado, and have been especially blessed to be spending time with dear friends and family here. The weather has been all over the place (Springtime in Colorado!), but SO, so beautiful.
Last week we released a new video for Earth Day called "I am Home", and just wanted to share it here.
I think the best thing about this travel adventure is being so close to Mother Earth. We are literally in the dirt most of the time! Lol. I was telling Eric the other day, I feel like I have a new relationship with dirt. But that's a whole other blog for another time. :-)
This song, "I am Home", is about being at home on Mother Earth, home in our hearts... home wherever we are. "Home in my heart, free in my soul, peace in my mind, LOVE ON THIS EARTH". I wrote this song several years ago, but it really came to life for me on this travel adventure. When we were in Homolovi State Park in Winslow, Arizona a couple of months ago, I had this impulse to grab our drums and shoot us playing and singing on the sacred land. It was so powerful! I hope you can feel the power when you watch this.
In this season of renewal and rejuvenation, Eric and I are digging even deeper into our "clean energy inside and out" ministry, especially musically. We're taking some time off from "gigging" to work on our new album and share our travel adventure virtually as much as we can.
