When we set out on our "six months to a year" travel trailer adventure, we really only had "phase one" sketched out... and very loosely. We chose to travel to Northern California (specifically Sonoma County) to begin our journey with the intention of creating and sharing music, helping people go solar, and getting acclimated to this off-grid kind of life.
Four months later, with stays in Forestville, Healdsburg, and Cotati, we've done just that... and have navigated a great start. It hasn't always been easy or without some tension, but we've managed to stay true to our covenant (purpose/vision/intentions) and have mindfully followed our hearts with guidance from on high. Without killing each other. Whew! Lol.
So, now we find ourselves in that wondrous and curious place of... "what's next?" Literally, just this week, we noticed the grass growing under our wheels, lol. We're taking it as a beautiful nudge from nature.
A few days ago, I was in a beloved conscious bookstore and was drawn to a deck of "Gaia Oracle Cards" created by Toni Carmine Salerno. Incredibly beautiful artwork and guidance/affirmations. And... GAIA! Goddess of the Earth. Perfection. A really wonderful tool.
One of the cards we drew today was "Hidden Path" (pictured here). The gist of it is: "Spirit and matter must merge if true progress is to be made". We are spiritual beings in physical bodies... and the spiritual path and physical path are one. We are trusting that Spirit will take us where we need to go.
We are also feeling like we have created this off-grid spaceship for a reason! We have the ability to pretty much go anywhere... and to experience all the beauty our Mama Earth has to offer. And also... we get to chase the warmer climates as winter approaches! ;-)
